PPC Loophole methods – How to quadruple PPC traffic

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

PPC Loophole members will stand a chance to learn how to quadruple traffic using Google Adwords PPC without much work. As PPC user, you might skip backlinks and other problems related to SEO, but don’t expect too much traffic from each keyword. In most cases, Google will display your ads as small text on right side of their search result.

Hence, the click through rate of one PPC ads is much lower than free, natural listings, especially for those who ranked at position five or lower. This is a problem since Google will look at your CTR history to determine quality score. The higher CTR, the better it would be. Below are seven tips to increase your CTR and traffic:

1. Edit your ads and campaign overall to achieve higher quality score. Relevant advertisers with higher quality score will be ranked higher, even at the same bid price. So, before anything else, the first thing you should do is to optimize your website, keywords and ads.

2. Increase the bid price and get position three or higher. If you are using PPC for a while, you will notice that overall CTR for position one, two and three is higher. Usually, Google will place ads in third position in the middle, so it will be more attractive and looks similar to organic search results. That’s why the CTR is much higher. One way to make your ads being placed at such position is by increasing bid price.

3. Write better ads. One way to get more clicks is by adding the keywords you are targeting into the ads. Once a searcher enters the keyword, your ads will be displayed with the keywords in bold. Google also loves this due to relevancy and the result would be higher position with better quality score.

4. Adding scarcity factors. Unless if you are promoting an established brand, people tend to get skeptical and afraid of scam products. From my experiments, it is proven that adding words like “warning”, “lies”, “don’t buy” and “scam” will result in better CTR.

5. Your keyword must be specific as possible. You need to understand what searchers need in order to write quality ads. State what they want, the benefits, problem and solution. Expect to get higher CTR by using specific keywords.

6. Ask question. If you put a normal statement, they will tend to ignore. However, if you ask them something, they will stop, answer the question and click if your description is relevant to their problem. Very useful tricks when comes to problem related keywords.

7. Find keywords with less competitors. Think about keywords that others won’t discover. Usually it would be long, and unique. The best way to generate such keywords is by using paid keyword tools like Keyword Elite or Market Samurai.
